The Deposit Protection Agency Act is deliberated in Thai Parliament
The Deposit Protection Agency (DPA) Act is now deliberated in Thai Parliament
after the Cabinet approved the bill on August 28, 2007.
The main points of this bill are as follows :
Increase VAT rate to 10% in 2008
Refer to Royal Decree released by the Revenue Department on September 3, 2007, Thai government will increase VAT rate from 7% to 10% on October 1, 2008.
DLO released all 6 core Thai Creative Commons License for Public-Hearing
On 18-21 September, 2007, Dharmniti Law Office (DLO) has released all 6 core Thai Creative Commons Licenses, for Thai jurisdiction in Thai language for 1-month public hearing.
DLO and TRN signed MOU with Creative Commons International
On August 21, 2007, Mr.Phichai Phuechmongkol, Managing director of DLO and Mr.Sunit Shrestha, Director of TRNLab, has signed MOU with Dr.Catharina Maracke of Creative Common International (Berlin) to port Creative Common Licenses (CCL) for Thailand jurisdiction.
